In a future update, the performance setting could hit 120fps on both Microsoft machines. On the PS5, however, “Rocket League” stops at 4K and 60fps, the same specs found on the PlayStation 4 Pro.

The developer has also confirmed that all cosmetic items and player progress can be transferred from PS4 / Xbox One to PS5 / Xbox Series by simply linking profiles to an Epic Games account. Anyway, all releases of the next generation game guarantee shorter load times and better split screen performance. Rocket League is free to download from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store.
